Ogura Inlay Company was operating in Kyoto at least from the late Meiji era. On December 20, 1935, it was officially registered by Tameichi Moriyama (森山爲市) and
Katsutoshi Nishiyama (西山勝利). The company manufactured and retailed gold inlaid articles, nunome zogan,
cloisonne (七寶) and products made of precious metals.
